Welcome to TGIF Network

We’ve got a couple of new enhancements coming to the TGIF Network very shortly. First up will be Static Talk Groups, giving users more control over how their hotspots remain connected to selected talk groups. This will be managed directly through Self Care, with built-in help explaining how to configure and use the feature. Shortly afterwards, we’ll also begin rolling out TGIF Voice Announcements. This adds optional spoken confirmation when connecting or changing talk groups, with a simple Voice Announcements ON/OFF toggle for each hotspot in Self Care. Both features have been designed to integrate cleanly with the existing TGIF system and make everyday hotspot operation a little easier. We’ve launched a newly modernised Talk Group Control Panel for TGIF talk group administrators. The updated workspace provides a cleaner, faster interface for managing talkgroups, including live activity, access control, talkgroup details, sysops and ownership, net scheduling, statistics, help and administrative controls. The new design has also been improved for desktop, tablet and mobile devices, while retaining the existing TGIF control functions and permissions.
